Wrap each one in unbleached parchment, and tie it like a present with rough garden twine. And what sweeter autumn words could you utter with forced nonchalance than, "Oh, here, I made you a mini apple pie."
Recipe to come.
A native Northwester returns after 18 years living on the East Coast and in the Midwest. In her travels, she has acquired a husband who is now well-accustomed to hearing about Hood strawberries, Copper River salmon, Northwest peaches, and other ingredients "just not the same" in other parts of the country. Residing in Seattle, Molly and Dara explore the Northwest's ingredients together. Charting this trek with super good stories, recipes and photos is the primary mission of "Seasonal Seattle."
Oh, these are SO cute, Molly! :-) I love tiny pies, tiny tarts, tiny cookies. It's just lovely to have a wee bit of something.
